If you’re looking for some new writing to get into, why not look for the works of one of these six women?
I’m most interested in reading the works of Nathalia Crane who had her poems published when she was only 9 years old! Apparently the publisher thought her work was so good they didn’t realize she was a child.
Ann Petry was also the first woman writer to see 1 million copies of her book “The Street”. That’s a pretty huge accomplishment. I wonder why I’ve never heard of these women and I wonder where I can find their writing. My next visit to the public library will be with a mission.
